CAMPANIA COASTAL — AMALFI & CILENTO

Southern Campania runs from the Sorrentine peninsula down through the Amalfi Coast and on into the Cilento. Most of the storied Amalfi towns — Ravello, Praiano, Atrani, Furore, Conca dei Marini, Cetara — sit well under the 30,000-inhabitant ceiling, so a relocating foreign pensioner can live in one of them under Art. 24-ter and pay 7% on foreign-source income for up to ten years. Even Amalfi and Positano themselves are eligible on population grounds.

South of Salerno the coast opens into the UNESCO-listed Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni national park: smaller harbours, longer beaches, lower entry prices. Castellabate, Pollica, Pisciotta, Santa Maria di Castellabate, and Casal Velino all qualify and are where most of the active Campania mandates currently sit.

Inventory across the two stretches mixes restored case in the borghi storici, seafront apartments with terrace, and small detached homes within walking distance of the water. Naples (NAP) and Salerno Costa d’Amalfi (QSR) airports serve the whole coast; the latter makes Cilento close to direct from northern Europe.
